Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick is likely to head back to Newcastle United in the summer.
His loan spell at Queens Park Rangers comes to an end when the season concludes.
The 30-year-old went to QPR in January after he was left out of Newcastle’s 25-man squad by manager Eddie Howe.
Hendrick wants regular football, and is likely to seek a move in the summer, per The Chronicle.
However, Newcastle boss Howe may still see a use for him in the squad next season.
Everything is likely to depend on how well the Magpies recruit, and whether any significant offers arrive for Hendrick.
