Inter have been showing interest in signing Paulo Dybala for a long time. Despite other clubs also entering the race, the Nerazzurri are reportedly leading the queue.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter made direct contact with the entourage of Paulo Dybala on Friday. In the meeting, they assured him of their intention to complete the free transfer for La Joya this summer, but they have asked for more time from the Argentinian.
The report understands that Inter have not given up on the track leading them to the 28-year-old. Firstly, they will complete a few sales in the coming days to create some room and accumulate some funds before making a move for Dybala.
Multiple reports have already suggested that Roma and Milan are also interested in the creative playmaker. But, as of yet, none of those two has come close to securing the La Joya’s permanent services. Ending his terms at Juventus this summer, Dybala will leave the club on a free transfer.
Inter have signed Lukaku on a season-long loan deal and are now negotiating with Paris Saint-Gaint over the sale of Milan Škriniar. Should that deal go through this week, there could be an escalation in Dybala’s pursuit soon.
