Several clubs from across Europe have been reportedly keeping tabs on Sassuolo‘s Hamed Junior Traorè for some time now, as per the reports in Italy. However, the 22-year-old doesn’t want to speculate on his future.
In an interview with Gazzetta di Modena, former Atalanta winger Amad Diallo’s brother claimed that his present would decide his future club. But having failed to hold onto the secret, he eventually expressed that a move to a club Premier League or a club in Ebdusliga would be perfect for him. He said,
“I don’t like talking about these things. In the future, I see myself here. Going to a team more important than Sassuolo only depends on how it goes here, and I’m happy now, and I only think about these colours. If the call came from abroad? I wouldn’t mind, the most suitable leagues for me would be the Bundesliga or the Premier League.”
Emerging through the ranks of Empoli, the Ivorian completed his move to Sassuolo in the summer of 2021 after staying on loan with the Neroverdi for two seasons. Last season, the youngster was one of the bright sparks for the side hailing from the region of Emilia-Romagna, having amassed eight goals and four assists from 32 appearances across all competitions.
The start to the new season has not gone as planned for the versatile playmaker, with a metatarsal fracture keeping Traorè on the sideline for nine league matches this season. He made his return against Atalanta last weekend and played a cameo of 25 minutes in the Neroverdi’s 2-1 defeat to La Dea.
