Manchester City’s plans to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland are on track.
That’s according to Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio, who also reports City won’t let go fellow striker Gabriel Jesus.
He said, “I can’t imagine that (Pep) Guardiola will let Gabriel Jesús go even if Haaland comes, which will happen because the agreement is very close.
“They still need another striker, a different one. Haaland is a different kind of footballer. Gabriel Jesús is going to stay because it is difficult to find a player like him.
“City does not need to sell him to make money. You have the option to buy whoever you want. It will depend on whether Gabriel Jesus agrees to play less once Haaland arrives. It will depend on his attitude if he knows that another amazing striker is going to come.”
