Fulham star Harry Wilson says Wales will be ready for England at the World Cup.
Wales take on arch rivals England for the November 29 clash in Al-Rayyan.
Wilson said: “We would be lying if we said we hadn’t looked at the fixtures. We all have friends in the England team. I have a couple in the USA team as well from Fulham.
“We will be having a bit of banter about the games but once they come around we’ll be against each other for 90 minutes.
“I will be doing all I can for Wales and they will be doing all they can for their country.”
Wales have several English-born players in Robert Page’s squad such as Ethan Ampadu, Dan James and Kieffer Moore.
But £12million midfielder Wilson says there will be no split loyalties in Qatar.
Wilson added: “Definitely. Wales against England is a massive game no matter where it is.
“But with it being at the World Cup on the biggest stage, it is going to be that extra bit more.
“We will be going in there full of confidence and ready to take on anyone. There is no reason why we can’t get a result against England.”
Wilson, who quit Liverpool for Fulham last summer, has secured a dream double at the end of the season – winning promotion to the Premier League before helping Wales reach the World Cup finals.
He said: “Going into the season I had two objectives. The first one was with Fulham and that was to get promotion and get to the Premier League and the second one was to qualify for a World Cup with Wales and I managed to do both.”
