Fulham manager Marco Silva says he has not heard anything about Fabio Carvalho’s rumoured move to Liverpool.
Reports earlier this month revealed that an agreement had been reached between Fulham and Liverpool over a summer transfer for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder.
However, following Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League, Silva told reporters: “As you expect I am speaking with our board every single day, and until now I didn’t receive news about it.
“If there’s something, a clause or not with any club. For that, I don’t want to talk about rumours or if something is true or not.”
He added: “He’s been fantastic, he is a fantastic boy.
“I got him with just one year left on his contract, possibly the [only] bad thing I can think of.
“He’s a young lad but he has a talent. When they have the talent, it is easy for the manager to work with. Apart from the talent, has the maturity to be a top football player, at 19 years old it’s fantastic.
“Other qualities are fantastic as well. He likes to learn, he knows from the first day what I expect from him. We believed in him as well and make him important because he deserves it. He knows that we are always behind him, demanding from him, it’s important for him to keep growing.
“I’m 100 per cent sure he will have a very good career ahead of him because he deserves it.”
