Frosinone coach Eusebio di Francesco was left delighted Matias Soule after victory over Genoa.
The victory has the promoted club sitting in tenth place.
Di Francesco said: “Being in the top half of the table is a great satisfaction for these people and for these guys who never give up. We won by believing in it until the end, raising the quality in the second half and constantly moving into their half of the field.”
On Juventus-owned winger Soulé, Di Francesco continued: “Soulé should have had more time for certain plays. He always tried to verticalize at a certain point. I always said the same thing to (Domenico) Berardi too… There is some similarity between the two: they are two boys who want to work and improve first and foremost, but also two footballers full of creativity and imagination.”
On his rebirth at Frosinone, the coach added: “I always blamed myself a lot for the choices I made and everything that happened. Today I changed my way of seeing and coaching the team.
“Here in Frosinone I have found people who know me and who know what my idea of football is, as well as players who are sponges and have a great desire to improve. I therefore thank my team and the club for their trust.”
