Arsenal defender William Saliba has been named in the France squad for the first time for their forthcoming international friendlies.
The youngster is yet to feature for the Gunners since his arrival in 2019 but looks set to make his senior debut during the upcoming international window.
His call-up is no surprise to many as the 20-year-old has been one of the standout players in Ligue 1, helping Marseille sit second on the log behind Paris Saint-Germain.

He joined Arsenal in a £27 million deal from Saint-Etienne in July 2019 but was sent straight back on loan to Les Verts that season.
The following season saw him play at Nice on loan, before opting to join ‘Les Olympiens’ this season.
The Les Blues will however miss the services of Benjamin Pavard, who is out after testing positive for Covid-19.
