Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper says they face Arsenal on Saturday with confidence.
Forest need a result to keep their survival hopes alive.
Cooper said: “Positive and motivated. There’s a lot riding on it but there is still two games and I think what we have to do is just focus on Arsenal and not think anything behind what it takes to do well in the game, because it will be a great atmosphere and this time of the season with two games to play there is a lot at stake.
“If we’re thinking about what-ifs beyond our performance on Saturday then we won’t be at our best and that’s not something that can happen with the level of team Arsenal are. So the attitude and atmosphere in training has been very good and very motivated and hard working and I never have any complaints with that.”
Asked if the club have its Premier League future in its own hands, Cooper added: “Wherever you are in the league, when you’re playing for something you always want it to be in your own hands and we’ve managed to create that for now and that’s what we have to try and capitalise on. It is lots of hard work to do that and lots of things have to go our way to do that but we have to have the confidence and motivation to make it that way.”
