Manchester United believe Diogo Dalot is ‘untouchable’ at the club following his performance in the 2021-22 season.
Last summer, the Portugal international was heavily linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford, with AC Milan reportedly willing to recruit him on a permanent basis.
Dalot remained with the Red Devils, though, and has been a key player this season, appearing in 16 matches across all competitions, including 12 Premier League games.
According to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund were interested in signing the right-back last summer and were considering a second bid in January.
Romano now claims that there is now no prospect of the Portuguese leaving Ralf Rangnick’s side as a result of his recent progress.

The 22-year-old, who is approaching the end of his contract at Old Trafford, has started seven of Man United’s previous nine Premier League matches.
