Fabinho admits he’s been disappointed with his form for Liverpool.
The Brazilian has had to settle for a place amongst the Liverpool substitutes in recent weeks, but he was reinstated in the midfield three during Monday night’s win over Everton.
Fabinho touched upon his form this season in an interview with Sky Sports ahead of the game at Newcastle: “It’s a little bit hard to explain, but in football sometimes this happens.
“I’m just happy the team showed a really good attitude after the bad games that we had.
“I’ve had better seasons with Liverpool. Maybe I’m not at my highest level and playing my best football, but it’s normal. In football you always try to be at your best level, physically and mentally.”
