Rangers defender James Tavernier has moved ahead of Lyon forward Karl Toko Ekambi and Braga’s Galeno at the top of the Europa League top scorers’ chart.
Tavenier. the only member of the leading trio still in the competition, continued with his form in front of goal as he opened the scores in Rangers’ surprise 2-1 win over RB Leipzig in the semi-final second leg on Thursday.
All of the defender’s seven goals have come in the knockout rounds, including scoring twice as the Scottish club knocked out Braga in the quarter-finals.
