Luton Town boss Rob Edwards says their draw with Liverpool shows they belong in the Premier League.
Tahith Chong had Luton 1-0 ahead on 80 minutes and the hosts entered stoppage time still with the lead.
But substitute Luis Diaz leapt highest to head home a Harvey Elliott cross to score on 95 minutes.
Edwards said: “Pride, mixed emotions because when you are leading and it goes to that stage of the game you want to see it out but immensely proud of the whole club tonight.
“We pushed a top, top team all the way and we can take a lot of confidence from that.
“You know they will press and push and throw everything at you. There are lads on their legs, they have been working so hard for the 90 minutes before that and you feel Liverpool would get a chance you just hope to ride it out but I can’t fault the players.
“I have always believed in this group of players, everyone at this club does and the supporters do. Everyone is connected at the moment.
“We need more points, we do, we have to answer any critics by getting points. We can kick on from here. We are still learning and growing and we want to get better.
“We deserve to be here. We have fought hard to come back from the depths to come back to this position and we don’t want to give it up. We will fight hard for it and the players want it. We know it is a huge task, we are going up against giants but we are enjoying it and we want to compete as well.”
