Former Leicester City stopper Caglar Soyuncu has joined Atletico Madrid on a four-year deal.
The Turkish international has decided to move on from the King Power Stadium team after its relegation.
The Foxes were not even able to cash in on Soyuncu, as he was out of contract.
After playing 132 games since arriving in 2018 from Freiburg, Soyuncu did not feel valued at Leicester.
He lost his place for large swaths of last season under Brendan Rodgers, despite the team conceding goals at an alarming rate.
He will now get the chance to link up with Diego Simeone at Atleti, who is known for getting the best out of defenders.
