Crystal Palace are in advanced talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The London Evening Standard says Palace want to sign a midfielder before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday night and have targeted Lokonga as an option.
Talks are now underway between the two clubs, with negotiations at an early stage. Only a loan move is being discussed, not a permanent switch.
Arsenal are set to boost their own midfield options as they are close to signing Jorginho from Chelsea for £12million.
The Gunners had been desperate to sign a midfielder before the January deadline as Mohamed Elneny is currently out with a knee injury and Thomas Partey also had an injury scare in the FA Cup.
