The race for Leeds United winger Raphinha has intensified amongst Premier League rivals.
Football.London says Arsenal have joined Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona in the race to sign Leeds winger Raphinha. The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, having impressed with his club.
The links come ahead of what is set to be a busy summer for Mikel Arteta in strengthening his squad. The Spaniard managed to guide his team to fifth this season, an improvement on previous campaign, but still not enough to return to the Champions League.
According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in a move, while Barcelona and Chelsea have both previously been linked. Reports have suggested that the player is available for roughly £64million, though it remains to be seen if that price tag is accurate.
The Brazilian can play on both the right and left wing, offering some versatility, while his 11 goals and 3 assists in a struggling side shows his ability in the Premier League. However, with priorities likely to be placed on strengthening elsewhere, as well as the challenge from other teams, it may be a deal that the Gunners struggle with.
