Chelsea could face the prospect of having to play at Wembley for up to five years.
The Blues are considering all the available options with respect to the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.
However, The Mirror states that even though owner Todd Boehly committed to rebuilding the stadium as part of his takeover, the process will not be easy.
The process involved will take many years, especially if the club knock down and rebuild Stamford Bridge completely.
There is another option of rebuilding the stadium one stand at a time, but that would take ten years and would also be disruptive.
The club’s ownership have not yet decided on what direction to take this process.
