The lineup for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final is slowly taking shape following this week’s action.
Bayern Munich and Liverpool became the first two teams to make it through to the quarters following their victories on Tuesday night.
The Bavarians thumped RB Salzburg 7-1 (8-2 on aggregate) to storm the last eight and will remain one of the favourites for the title.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have also been in good form, and they sailed through despite losing 1-0 at home to Inter Milan in the second leg.
The Merseyside club had won the opening match 2-0 at San Siro and will be confident going into the last eight.
The two were joined on Wednesday by Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos were losing to PSG before Karim Benzema scored a stunning 17-minute hat-trick to send them through with a 3-2 aggregate win over Lionel Messi and company.
Manchester City played out a 0-0 draw against Sporting CP on Wednesday night, but qualified thanks to their 5-0 first-leg victory.
