Champions League hopefuls Tottenham saw their chances dented with a loss at Burnley on Wednesday night.
Clarets skipper Ben Mee rose majestically at the back post to head home the game’s only goal after 71 minutes.
The result was huge for Burnley as they move two points closer to safety.
However Spurs will feel hard done by after coming close to scoring on several occasions.
Harry Kane hit the bar in the second-half, while Dejan Kulusevski came centimetres from beating Nick Pope at his far post.
Antonio Conte’s men remain seven points adrift of fourth place, although they’ve got two games in hand on fourth-placed Manchester United.
