Bundesliga ginats Bayern Munich will battle Chelsea FC for the services of FC Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
The Frenchman’s contract with Barca will be ending this month with Chelsea said to be the frontrunner for his signature but according to OnzeTV3, Bayern are set to offer a better contract than what Barca has given the player.
Barcelona had offered the Frenchman a €7.5 million contract plus €3.5 million in bonuses in December, which was left unanswered and with 72hours left to the end of his association with Barca, there is a belief that a decision on his future will be made this week.
New contacts between Ousmane Dembélé’s agent Moussa Sissoko and Barcelona will take place today. Ousmane wants an improved proposal to extend the contract and stay at Barça, as reported yesterday. 🇫🇷 #FCB

In the wake of the disrespect, the club has rescinded the terms of that contract and tabled a fresh one with an even lower salary. Should Dembele renew, he will earn €6 million in annual wages, plus €1.5 million in performance-related add-ons.
With no team sending any official offer to the World Cup winner, the Catalan giants are confident that Dembele will end up renewing his contract before his current one expires.
