Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste has cast doubts over the club’s possibility of signing striker Erling Haaland.
Yuste presented the tournament ‘Barça Academy World Cup’ which takes place on Easter, from 11-14 April, at the club’s training ground and when asked about Haaland, he insisted that they had targets but won’t do anything imprudent.
“We’re working to give hope back but we will not do anything imprudent, he said.
Yuste was however confident when asked about a contract renewal of winger Ousmane Dembele but insisted that they won’t go above their means to keep him.
Dani Alves: “Haaland or Mbappé to Barça? I wouldn’t do crazy things for Haaland. Honestly, I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on him. I would spend a lot of money on Mbappé, but not on Haaland.” pic.twitter.com/ATVgpECfgh

“Ousmane is very happy, we want him to continue. The negotiation is on track and we will see how it sends up. The intention is for him to stay here. We won’t throw the house out of the window, whoever it’s for,” he added.
Dembele’s contract with the Laliga giants will be coming to an end when the current season is over with PSG said to be among teams interested in his services.
