Mbappe has reached 250 goals in lightning quick time.
He was nearly a year younger than Messi when reached the landmark, and nearly three years younger than both Ronaldo’s.
But one current football star reached 250 goals at a younger age than Mbappe: Neymar.
Neymar made his debut for Santos at the age of just 17 and scored 136 times in Brazil’s leagues before moving to Barcelona four years later. He then hit the ground running with the Catalan giants.
Mbappe is well on the road to becoming one of the greatest footballers to have ever played the sport.
But he has a long way to beat Ronaldo’s record goal tally, that currently stands at 813.
Can Mbappe beat it? It’s not out of the question. But he will have to play at the very highest level for at least the next decade to do so.
