Sky Germany reports that Schalke midfielder Assan Ouedraogo is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs as well as Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and AC Milan.
Liverpool, Brighton and Everton have all shown interest in the 17-year-old but they all seem to be on the back foot compared to Bayern and Milan.
Bayern are trying to work on a deal for Ouedraogo and the midfield could see himself playing for Bayern. However, if the 17-year-old does move to Bavaria he would likely be immediately sent back on loan to Schalke so he can continue to get playing time.
Milan are also stepping up their pursuit of Ouedraogo. In the summer they wanted to sign the 17-year-old and have now turned their attention to trying to bring him in this winter or next summer. The bosses at Milan want to meet with their counterparts at Schalke in the coming days.
What is key in the transfer saga of Ouedraogo is his contract. When the midfielder turns 18 in May, his contract will turn into a professional one and with this, a release clause is added. The clause for domestic clubs is said to be worth €12-15m, while for foreign clubs they will have to pay a premium of €20m.
