Arsenal has improved their bid on Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus in the last few days.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is in the market for a new striker after the club confirmed the departure of Alexander Lacazette and according to tabloids in the UK, the Spaniard is keen on the Brazilian.
While the player is keen to move to the Emirates for more game time, the problem with his agent has been on the wages and according to The Daily Mail, the North London club is now ready to double what they initially offered.
Jesus has been linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer after Erling Haaland signed for Pep Guardiola’s side last month with City now ready to listen to offers for the player.

The departure of Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this year leaves the club short in attack despite Eddie Nketiah signing a new deal with the side.
According to the reports, Arteta is believed to have held an excellent working relationship with the 25-year-old during his time as assistant boss at the Etihad and both parties are reportedly keen on a deal.
