Juventus want to bolster their rank with the signing of talented youngsters. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk could be next in line to join the Turin club. But there is intense competition for the left-winger, with his recognition already attaining interest from the Premier League.
According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, Juventus have been keeping tabs on Mudryk for more than two years now and seem ready to open negotiations with the player’s entourage. But there is more than one obstacle between Juventus’ aspiration to land the player and the reality.
First of all, the youngster is valued at €35 million by the Ukrainian club. Secondly, Arsenal remain interested in the 21-year-old. It is understood that Mikel Arteta is set to approach the request of Shakhtar. But Juve seem adamant and are unwilling to leave an inch in the potential pursuit of the winger.
Mudryk has been exceptional for the Ukraine-based side in the 2022/23 season, having notched up five goals and seven assists from 10 appearances in all competitions. The player has a contract with his current club until 2026, meaning that Shakhtar could wait for a bidding war to get a better valuation off his departure.
