Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has had some harsh words to say after Spurs’ frustrating 3-3 draw against Southampton.
Spurs were 3-1 up after goals from Harry Kane and Ivan Perisic in the second half after Che Adams had nullified Pedro Porro’s goal. But the Saints pulled one back through Theo Walcott and a late penalty from James Ward-Prowse saw the South Coast club pick up one point in the game.
But Conte, who has spoken about Spurs’ mentality in recent weeks, was quite vocal about the club’s tendencies and the club’s ownership in the post-game interview. He stated that Spurs are ‘used to’ things like the result on Saturday and that the club does not want to play under pressure and compete for trophies and titles.

The Italian said: “They’re used to it here. Don’t play for something important. They don’t want to play under pressure. They don’t want to play under stress. Tottenham’s story is this. 20 years there is the owner & they never won something. Why?”
The ex-Inter boss’ side are currently fourth in the table but a win could have taken them to third in the table and over Manchester United. But the loss comes at a wrong time, especially considering United don’t play a game this weekend.
