Anthony Martial will return to Manchster United in the summer as Sevilla is not willing to turn his loan deal into a permanent one.
The Frenchman had hoped to rediscover his form in Laliga after moving there in January but his fortunes have remained the same in what is proving to be a vindication for manager Ralf Rangnick who gave him less playing time.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that the Frenchman is likely to return to Old Trafford as Sevilla has not opened any talks with United over signing the player on a permanent basis.
With his wage demands, the player might be offloaded for another loan spell in the summer but he will have a chance in the preseason to convince United that they still need him when they find a new coach to lead them in the new season.
The expectation around Anthony Martial is still to come back to Manchester United in the summer. There’s no buy option included in the deal with Sevilla and currently no talks opened to keep Martial for one more season. 🔴🇫🇷 #MUFC

Martial has only scored one goal in eight games during his loan spell and with Sevilla struggling to stay in the Champions League spots, they will need the 26-year-old to fire from all angles if they are to topple Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Real Betis for the top four positions.
They currently sit second on the log but have just won one of their last five games in the league.
