Aston Villa hero Gabby Agbonlahor has come to the defense of Jamie O’Hara and Jermaine Jenas.
The former Tottenham duo were criticised by Manchester United legend Gary Neville.
O’Hara and Jenas had been commenting about Spurs’ poor form and how they no longer wanted to watch the team.
Neville responded to those claims by suggesting the duo never achieved a similar level of success when they were at Spurs, compared to the present group.
“Jamie O’Hara played for Spurs, Jermaine Jenas played for Spurs. They know their club, and it’s not just about fourth place,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“Spurs, that I used to play against, were really attractive to watch, great football and that’s what Spurs fans want to see.”
He added: “Gary Neville speaks so much on Manchester United, he knows them better than anyone else but I’ve heard him moan about the quality of football at Manchester United.
“When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn’t doing it he didn’t really come for him, he sat on the fence with that. I think you’re allowed to talk about your club and how you feel, you know it more.”
