AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says he returns to preseason training refreshed and ambitious.
Milan start the new season as defending Serie A champions.
Pioli said, “It was a beautiful summer, I enjoyed my family, friends and Milan fans. It was very nice, but now the season starts again with great enthusiasm.
“I think the beauty of what we did is the involvement of everyone who attended this party. It was an exciting summer, but it must be just as good what we start doing today.”
Pioli has assured fans new signings will be made.
He continued: “I would say to wait, especially for the fact that we are not complete yet. The important thing is to come back here, see each other again and work together to recreate that magic that was there last season. It will have to be the same path, but for certain sensations it will be just wait for the rest of the group.
“I think it will be a special season and in the first three months it will be a championship in itself and very important for the season. All the teams will play something important and the preparation will have to be at a high level.”
