According to Fabrizio Romano, it has been revealed that Paris Saint-Germain posses a buy-back clause for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Xavi Simons (20), set at €6 million. This clause could be activated during the month of July, specifically from the 1st to the 31st. The final decision to activate the clause rests solely with the player himself, who is reportedly awaiting contact from PSG.
Simons has attracted attention from numerous top clubs across Europe. Manchester United, Arsenal, Brighton, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig have all expressed interest in the player and have requested to be kept informed of any developments regarding his future.
The buy-back clause established by PSG provides a unique opportunity for the French club to potentially reacquire Simons at a significantly reduced cost. However, the ultimate decision rests with Xavi Simons himself. The young midfielder, who joined Paris Saint-Germain’s youth academy in 2019, is awaiting communication from the club regarding their intentions.
The dutch international has made 34 appearances this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 9 assists for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.
