Napoli set €180m asking price for Victor Osimhen

If Paris Saint-Germain are to bring Victor Osimhen back to Ligue 1 this summer, they could end up paying Napoli a fee close to what was spent on Kylian Mbappé when the Frenchman arrived in 2017.

The former Lille man, who has just led the Azzurri to a first Serie A title in 33 years, has been identified as one of the potential frontline reinforcements as PSG face yet another summer rebuild. According to Le Parisien tonight, though, the Italian champions have set their asking price for the 24-year-old at €180m.

Osimhen, who is under contract for another two years, scored 26 league goals in his third season in Campania. Despite his impressive scoring record, PSG are unlikely to be able to meet Napoli’s asking price, especially given their FFP-related sanctions from last year. In the same vein, last year saw the French champions walk away from Inter’s demand of €80m for Milan Škriniar – who will be joining PSG on a free transfer this summer anyway.

The striker has also attracted interest from other big clubs on the continent – namely Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United. Although some in Paris are pushing for Harry Kane to be signed, sporting advisor Luís Campos is keen on reuniting with Osimhen
