Napoli hero Gianfranco Zola admits he would struggle to get into this season’s team.
Zola has been inducted into FIGC’s Hall of Fame.
Asked if he’d get a game with today’s Napoli, Zola remarked: “Good question, everyone would struggle to play in this Napoli. I would have had to work hard, but maybe a I would have found a little space.
“When I see they play I think ‘wow’, how wonderful. Their strength is not only in the individual, but as a team.”
Speaking of individuals, Zola commented on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
“I didn’t know Kvara, I have a very high opinion of him. He’s a very technical player, but also a team player. He has a great personality and his has been a growing, he never stopped. He reminds me of George Best.”
The same comparison was recently made by Zola’s former Italy teammate Christian Vieri.
