A gigantic clash at the top of the Serie A table on Friday will see league leaders Napoli host second placed Juventus at the Armando Maradona Stadium.
While Napoli come into the game at the back of a loss to Inter and a win over Sampdoria, Juventus have managed to win both of their games post-World Cup break by a close 1-0 margin, beating Cremonese and Udinese. The gap between the two sides is seven points, as things stand.
Napoli were unbeaten against the Old Lady last season, as they managed to beat them at home 2-1 in the first game of the campaign and were then held to 1-1 draw in Turin. Whether they remain unbeaten against the Bianconeri since last season today will depend on selection.
Luciano Spalletti has already revealed Piotr Zielinski and Amir Rrahmani will return to the side after not starting against Samp. Sky Italia believe that Max Allegri is expected to use a midfield three of Adrien Rabiot, Nicolo Fagioli and Manuel Locatelli. There remains doubt over Angel di Maria’s fitness but he is expected to start too.
JUVENTUS (3-5-1-1): Szczesny; Danilo, Bremer, Alex Sandro; McKennie, Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Di Maria, Milik
NAPLES (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Kim, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia.
