Manchester City chief Txiki Begiristain insists there’ll be no underestimating RB Leipzig.
City have drawn Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16.
Begiristain said, “We know each other. They are open games. Lots of back and forth. It’s hard with them.
“Let’s see how we get there with the World Cup in between.”
Begiristain was also asked about City’s priorities and stated: “You’re not going to believe me. Of course we want to win this competition, but as a philosophy, what gives us the most stability is the league. I have always considered that the Champions League is very tough, you have to go with humility because the Champions League destroys projects and we don’t want ours to be destroyed.
“If we fight for the league, we are candidates. We will always be candidates. To win or not to win it… stay one or two games away… Are you going to tell me after what happened at the Bernabéu?”
