After hammering Sassuolo in Matchday 1 of the Serie A, Allegri’s Juventus face Sampdoria away from home tonight at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Sampdoria will focus on redeeming themselves after losing to Atalanta in their season opener but they are again expected to have a tough time against an in-form Bianconeri side.
Despite the odds, the Blucerchiati will count on the home advantage, keep out Juventus and try to at least salvage a draw from the game. Ciccio Caputo is expected to start in attack with Fabio Quagliarella to act as a substitute for him later on. The Sampdoria midfield is going to consist of the likes of Ronaldo Vieira, Mehdi Leris, Tomas Rincon, Abdelhamid Sabiri and Filip Djuricic.
As for the Old Lady, Massimiliano Allegri is expected to start new signing Filip Kostic for his first outing for the club. Juan Cuadrado and Dusan Vlahovic will look to continue their stellar form and make the absence of Angel Di Maria barely felt. Adrien Rabiot is also expected to start, after his move to Manchester United fell through.
In defence, Daniele Rugani expects himself to get the nod over Federico Gatti and will be playing alongside Gleison Bremer.
Here is how Sky Italia predicts both teams to line-up:
Sampdoria (4-1-4-1): Audero; Bereszynski, Ferrari, Colley, Augello; Vieira, Leris, Rincon, Sabiri, Djuricic; Caputo.
Juventus (4-3-3): Perin; Danilo, Bremer, Rugani, Alex Sandro; McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot; Cuadrado, Vlahovic, Kostic.
