Laliga giants FC Barcelona are concerned about the fitness level of youngster Ansu Fati.
The player barely played last season due to a niggling knee injury but was called to the Spain national team this month for their UEFA Nations League campaign despite playing no minute.
There are reports that Spain national team head coach Luis Enrique called him up to gauge hit fitness levels and after watching him, they feel that he isn’t still ready to compete at the highest level.

Xavi Hernandez managed Fati precautiously at the tail end of last season and there is a certain amount of concern at Barcelona and among the club’s medical staff over Ansu’s fitness.
Local journalist Achraf Ben Ayad reported yesterday: “He’s still not ready to compete at the top level, he is a long way from being level. Barça believes he committed a big error not having surgery.”
Sport says the concern is real and that the player has undertaken several tests to check on his fitness.
