Nemanja Matic is set to undergo his medical at AS Roma next week before reuniting with his former boss Jose Mourinho.
Matic confirmed before the end of the season that he will be leaving Manchester United once his contract expires this summer.
Journalist Gianluca di Marzio has reported about Roma’s moves in the midfield, claiming that the Giallorossi boss Mourinho has given his approval for a move for Davide Frattesi. The midfielder would like to return to his youth side and an agreement is now sought with Sassuolo.
The Italian impressed for the Neroverdi last season, making 38 appearances in all competitions for the club. The impressive season has convinced Roma into re-signing him.
As for Matic, Roma have brought forward the scheduled medical. While it was initially expected to take place in July, it will now take place early next week. At the latest, it could take place on Monday or
