Fiorentina will undergo an overhaul in the forthcoming summer transfer window, with recent reports hinting at their arrivals and departures in abundance.
Today’s edition of La Nazione takes a deep dive into the predicaments and the potential transfer dealings of La Viola. As per the report, Fiorentina have identified extending Nikola Milenkovic‘s contract as their top objective this summer.
The Serbian’s contract will expire in June 2023, meaning that he has one year left in his current terms in Florence. Multiple reports have already acknowledged the interest of numerous clubs in the 24-year-old defender, making it rather difficult for La Viola to bind the centre-back to a quick contract extension.
As things stand, the negotiations over a renewal for Milenkovic have hit a stalemate, clouding the Serbian’s long-term future in Florence. The report suggests that the player has a market price of around €20million.
The report also discusses Lazio’s interest in Riccardo Saponara, who will be a free agent this summer following the expiration of his term at Fiorentina. On the other hand, Torino’s Andrea Belotti remains a dream for Vincenzo Italiano’s side, which is reportedly competing with Torino for the services of Joao Pedro in the market.
