Manchester United will welcome back a number of first-team players for their final match of the season away at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Red Devils will go into the match knowing a win will be enough to book a place in next season’s Europa League.
Ralf Rangnick’s men were last in action nearly a fortnight ago when they lost 4-0 away at Brighton, but their squad has been boosted by the return of some key members of the team.
Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho, who all missed the clash against the Seagulls were this week pictured in training.
Also seen in training was Eric Bailly, who missed the clash at the Amex Stadium due to back problems.
With the return of Bailly and Shaw, Rangnick could have a full defensive rearguard to choose from.
David de Gea, if picked to start, would have played all the 38d Premier League matches this season, a feat he has achieved before on two occasions – during the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.
In the middle of the park, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, and Fred will all be available for selection, with Paul Pogba the only absentee.
Matic will be hoping to start in what will be his last match for the club and could play alongside McTominay, just like he has done in the last four outings.
Upfront, the fit-again Rashford, and Sancho could both be in contention for starting spots in the wide areas which Anthony Elanga and Bruno Fernandes have occupied recently.
Juan Mata, who will be leaving at the end of the season, will also be hoping for some action and could fill the attacking role he has played in the last two matches.
Youngsters Teden Mengi, Alvaro Fernandez, Hannibal, Charlie Savage, and Shola Shoretire were all spotted in first-team training this week and could be involved as well.
