Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been named the LaLiga Player of the Month for April.
Benzema beat Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (FC Barcelona), Ante Budimir (Osasuna), Borja Mayoral (Getafe), Jose Luis Morales (Levante), Johan Mojica (Elche) and Vedat Muriqi (Mallorca) to the award.
Benzema has been a key figure for Madrid this season with the club making it to the final of the UEFA Champions League where they are set to meet English side, Liverpool, in Paris next month.
In the month of April alone, the Frenchman netted four goals in five games, procuring valuable points for his team, and his performances proved pivotal in Real Madrid celebrating another LaLiga Santander title.
