Angel di Maria looks like he’s going to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine winger’s contract with the French club expires at the end of this season and there’s no proposal to extend his deal.
So the former Real Madrid player looks to be on the move, and his father, Miguel di Maria, has confirmed that Angel will return to Rosario Central, his local club, before he calls it a day.
It’s not certain, however, as to where he’ll be next season.
Because he still has a lot to give. Angel scored a stunning goal last week at La Bombonera as Argentina beat Venezuela 3-0 in Buenos Aires; Nicolas Gonzalez and Lionel Messi also scored.
Angel, 34, joined PSG from Manchester United in 2015.
He’s contributed 91 goals and 115 assists for the French club in the 289 official matches he’s played. He’s also earned 121 caps for the Argentine national team and scored 24 goals.
He’ll be part of Lionel Scaloni’s squad for the 2022 World Cup.
