Christian Eriksen made a scoring return with Denmark in a friendly match against the Netherlands on Saturday night.
The Brentford midfielder was making his first appearance with his national team since suffering a cardiac arrest against Finland at Euro 2020 in June.

The midfielder was introduced at half-time in the friendly played at the Amsterdam Arena and incredibly scored with his first touch to get his side back into the game at 3-2.
A clever team move allowed Andreas Skov Olsen to move into the Netherlands penalty area before he pegged the ball back for Eriksen to smash a first-time effort into the top corner.

The goal didn’t come as a surprise for the 30-year-old as he spent three years playing his home football at the same stadium while representing Ajax but it did less from preventing his team from going 4-2 down to the hosts.
