It’s a Super Saturday of English Premier League football, and we have prepared a short slip for you!
🦊Leicester City vs Leeds United
Patson Daka has been involved in six goals in his last six appearances at home in all competitions, scoring five and assisting one. Across the season, no player has scored more home goals for Leicester than the Zambian’s six. The Foxes be delighted about the Zambian’s quick acclimatization to life in England, and they’ll also be happy with a return to form for star midfielder James Maddison. New Leeds boss Jesse Marsch has his work cut out for him, and the journey is likely to start with defeat at the King Power.
TIP: Over 2.5 match goals
🙏Aston Villa vs Southampton
Southampton has scored in each of their last 10 Premier League matches, with only league leaders Manchester City on a longer current run in the competition (17). We fancy them to continue that run here against a Villa side that has only kept one shutout in their last four. The Saints won the reverse fixture but might be happy to settle for a point here to extend their current unbeaten streak to six matches.
TIP: Both Teams To Score
🔵Burnley vs Chelsea
Burnley’s defeat at home to Leicester last time out would have come as a huge blow for Sean Dyche’s team, who had begun to develop a head of steam in their relegation fight. They now face European champions Chelsea, who bounced back from EFL Cup final defeat to come from behind at Luton Town and progress to the FA Cup quarterfinals. The Blues need to win here to stay comfortable in third. The Clarets’ last five home matches have produced a lean total of just six goals, so Thomas Tuchel’s visitors might need to grind this out in difficult conditions.
TIP: Chelsea to win at FT
🔴Liverpool vs West Ham
The Reds’ strength in depth was on display against Norwich in the FA Cup, where they made 10 alternations to the starting side that won the EFL Cup, with only skipper Jordan Henderson retained. They’ll be back to full-strength here and that spells trouble for a West Ham side that has shipped three in a midweek FA Cup exit at Southampton. The Hammers are good value in attack though, so we expect goals at both ends.
TIP: Both Teams To Score
