Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw says they must throw everything at Brighton on Tuesday.
Shaw is under no illusions that it is imperative the side start getting more points on the board.
”We know it’s a massive game against Brighton on Tuesday so our full focus needs to be on that,” the 26-year-old said after the draw with Southampton.
”We know we will have the fans behind us but we also know it’s up to us to do it on the pitch.
”The training’s going well and we know what we need to do when we get on the pitch. So, you know, it’s down to us to give everything when we step onto the pitch.
”That starts by winning that game because we need to.”
United started well against the Saints, Shaw’s former club, but were unable to take maximum points.
”I still don’t think we were as good as we can be and that’s not good enough for us because we have to improve fast and improve quick,” he added.
”Like I said, we have to achieve our goals this season and, with what we have left, we have to get into the Champions League.”
