Futaa’s expert betting team has selected five picks from this Saturday’s FA Cup action where we expect plenty of entertainment and goals.
Here are our tips and best bets!
✅ Double Chance – Wigan Draw No Bet in Wigan vs Blackburn
When it comes to FA Cup triumphs, the 2012/13 Wigan victory under Roberto Martinez comes to mind. They made history by becoming the first team to win the FA Cup and subsequently be relegated in the same season, and they’ve since knocked out six Premier League teams and taken Arsenal to penalties. When it comes to the former, Wigan are known for being ‘giant killers’ in this league and are one of the teams keeping the magic alive. Not only that, but they’re soaring in League One as they try to reclaim their place in the second tier, and they’ll be well-rested thanks to their multiple COVID postponements.

✅ BTTS in Bristol City vs Fulham
Following a run of three games that ended 1-0 or 2-0, each of Bristol City’s four matches so far have been far more entertaining, with the team that scored first failing to win three of them. In fact, in each of Bristol’s last four games, a game-leading player has failed to finish the game, similar to three of visiting Fulham’s last four games. Only one of the last 11 visiting teams has kept Bristol from scoring, and Fulham was one of the teams to be punished by a Robins goal in a 1-1 draw in September.

✅ BTTS in Kidderminster vs Reading
Reading have had a difficult season on and off the field in 2021/22, and the FA Cup third-round draw will have sent shivers down the spines of fans and club officials alike. This is a major test for a Championship team that has lost seven of their eleven away games this season, with five of those games ending in a 0-0 draw. However, both teams have scored in five of their past seven road games, including three of their four triumphs, with both teams scoring in five of their last seven.

✅ Newcastle United to win vs Cambridge United
Newcastle have only won once since Eddie Howe took over in November, but a five-game winning
streak at home shows they are starting to turn the corner. The Magpies have scored in all but two of
their last nine top-flight matches at St James’ Park, and are desperate to start stringing together a run of victories. This fixture may provide the ideal occasion to do so. Since losing on penalties to Bournemouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup in 1992, Newcastle has not been knocked out by a team from the third tier or lower.

✅ Everton to win at Hull City
We’re rooting for Everton to win this weekend, but don’t expect them to have everything their own
way. The Toffees have won six of their last eleven meetings with Hull, including a 4-0 win in their most recent meeting in 2017. Hull have lost their past two games against Blackpool and Nottingham Forest and have gone four games without a win, whereas Everton have won one, drawn one, and lost two of their last six matches.
