The Portuguese strategist joined Molineux in the summer as Nuno Espirito Santo’s replacement and has done an excellent job thus far in the West Midlands.
Lage earned his first Manager of the Month accolade on these shores after winning all three of his Premier League games in January.
Wolves opened the month with a memorable 1-0 victory over Manchester United, thanks to a late Joao Moutinho goal, and they subsequently ended January with victories against Southampton at home and Brentford away.
Lage’s side finished January in eighth position, just four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United and having played fewer games than five of the table’s top seven teams.
Furthermore, they’ve moved four points clear of Brighton in ninth place, as Lage looks to reintroduce Wolves to Europe.
