What a fantastic report this is. Here is a video of Mohamed Salah addressing the Egypt national side after the AFCON 2021 final loss to Senegal on Sunday.
Firstly, you just got to love technology and what football has to offer via social media these days. We get to see team leaders speak to their teammates and staff during heated moments.
This time it is Mohamed Salah in the Egypt dressing room after the defeat to the Lions of Teranga last Sunday.
According to the English translation from ahramonline, Salah essentially told his teammates revenge is coming when the two sides meet again in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs in March.
“We have played four matches, 120 minutes each, in approximately 12 days,” he said, according to ahramonline.
“Of course, it’s a difficult situation for us psychologically, but now it’s over.
“We have another round next month, and we will take our revenge from them,” the 29-year-old concluded.
