Bristol Rovers have signed midfielder Elliot Anderson from Premier League side Newcastle United.
The 19-year-old has been a part of the Magpies’ academy since he was nine years old.
He played in the FA Cup third round against Arsenal last year, marking his senior debut.
Anderson will be hoping to gain regular first-team football at Bristol, as they attempt to push up the League Two table.
Rovers are presently in 12th spot, with minimal danger of getting dragged into the relegation fight.
