Villarreal fullback Serge Aurier feels for his former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino at PSG.
Pochettino is fighting for his job after PSG fell at the round 16 stage of the Champions League.
But Aurier says: “I was happy when he was approached by Paris. From what I saw, he was someone who had the soul to give what this team lacks. I am sad for him. He is someone with whom I learned a lot. In Paris, I’m a little disappointed with how things are going.
“I don’t think it’s just his fault, I think it’s a group. Knowing him, his game plan has always been good. We were in the Champions League final. He has a lot of qualities.
“I think there are also problems internally. I hope he will continue until the end of the season.”
