Tyler Roberts has explained his motivation in moving on-loan from Leeds to QPR.
Speaking to QPR’s website, Roberts stated that the move was motivated by the need to play regular football for the good of his career, as well as in the hopes of securing a spot in Wales’ World Cup squad.
He said: “At this stage in my career, I want to play as many games as I can and this is a great club to come and do that at. I can feel the buzz around the place ahead of the new season with the new gaffer [Michael Beale].

“I had a chat with him and his enthusiasm towards the game is clear. He’s got a great track record with improving young players and he wants to play football in the right way. He feels that now is the time for me to really push on in my career – and so do I.”
QPR have an option in the loan deal to buy Roberts permanently, believed to be in the region of £4.5million.
